Opening a test platform that already drove iPhones to Android smartphones, and making the link between phones and bench reliable.

The need

The eTasQ automated test platform already drove iPhones. It had to be opened to Android smartphones, which need their own app on the phone and their own integration in the sequencer. The communication layer between the smartphones and the test bench also had to become more reliable, for both families of devices.

The solution

    Android smartphone support in the platform sequencer, in C++.

  2. 02

    Architecture and first version of the Android app installed on the phones under test.

  3. 03

    Complete rework of the communication layer between the smartphones and the test bench, iPhones included, to make it more reliable.

The outcome

The platform drives iPhones and Android smartphones, over a fully reworked communication layer.
