The need
The RAL Stainer prepares blood, bone marrow or microbiology slides before they are read under the microscope or analysed by digital imaging. It handles ten slides per cycle, by direct immersion in the stain containers, and is designed for laboratories staining 30 to 200 slides a day. Each staining method follows a standardised cycle, with RAL Diagnostics kits for haematology, microbiology or mycobacteria. The app had to drive each cycle, keep a record of it, and handle the whole administration of the instrument.
